Sautiner is a jacketed vessel provided with stirrers which roasts powders, pulses and prepares semisolids. The heating media generally used is thermic fluid or steam.
Jacketed vessel is used for heating liquids like fruit pulp,ayurvedic medicine etc, by passing externally generated steam through a sealed “vacuum” system. Kettles are designed according to their constructional features. They are: (a)Tiltable kettle (b) Fixed kettle (c) Fixed kettle with stirrers.
